These are becoming a common fault on the Freelander 2, and can be easily spotted by the tell tale oil staining on the core and end tanks, which will result in a loss of boost pressure and can cause more smoky running too. These intercoolers are a direct replacement for the existing one and a simple job to swap out.
There are three different intercoolers fitted on the 2.2 TD4 Freelander 2 through out their production.

- LR030762 - From chassis number BH252754 onwards
