TREDZ Defender Window Block Bulkhead Step Set

Enhance the accessibility to the front of your Defenders roof rack and roof tent effortlessly with TREDZ, from Empire Tuning.

Stop perching on the edge of your windscreen or denting your bonnet when setting up your roof tent. TREDZ give the perfect boost up to reach your roof without breaking anything on the front of your Defender.

These have the added advantage of being an additional tie down location, or the perfect place to stow your winch hook above the waterline while wading.

What are they made from?

Built from super tough, advanced fibre-reinforced polymer, these boast unparalleled strength and exceptional corrosion resistance. We've tested these to destruction, finally failing at over 3200kg placed on the very top of the step. The black pigmented polymer also means that no matter how much you climb over them, or how much mud and gravel you have stuck in your boots, they wont scratch delicate anodised surfaces or open them up to corrosion from the elements like the standard cast window blocks. TREDZ are built tough, and built to last! These are rounded off with stainless steel threaded inserts and our own neoprene 3M backed windscreen block gaskets, ensuring a perfect secure and water tight installation.

What will TREDZ fit?

Ninety, One Ten & Defender to 2016 - Please note these will not fit beside the genuine Land Rover or Mantec plastic snorkels. These will fit alongside tubular and safari type snorkels. They still fit the passenger side however, so you're still free to easily access your roof rack from there too!

Installation couldn't be more straight forward too. They directly replace the standard Defender window blocks MUC7911 & MUC7912. Our own much improved gaskets are also included.

What colours are TREDZ available in?

These are black pigmented through manufacture, so theyre black all the way through. No matter now much you scuff them, its as tough and utilitarian as your Defender. We also supply them painted in gloss black and gloss red. These can of course tarnish from standing on them over time. You're also more than welcome to paint these to match your vehicle too!

• One set of neoprene self-adhesive gaskets

The safety stuff:

• TREDZ must never to be used as a recovery point. These are far stronger than your bulkhead, and the body is not rated to recover from that position.
• Care must be taken when climbing your vehicle, especially under wet or slippery conditions.
• The manufacturers and suppliers explicitly disclaim any liability for damage and injuries resulting from improper fitting or misuse.
