Single and Dual Mapping

Like all tuning in or workshop and through our network of Trusted Partners, your tuned file is custom made to suit your car, its modifications and how you wish to use it. All you need to do is read and save the file from your ECU and send us this file along with the Encryption Key. Let us know all of the details of your vehicle and how its set up, and we'll build the rest to suit! You then write the returning mapped file back onto your car and go test it!

We can dual map your car remotely too. Your Land Rover is a versatile vehicle, and sometimes having a tune to suit the different ways you use it works best! We can make customer tunes that can be switched at the press of a button, and all you need to do is upload the file and install a switch. We supply all the instructions and the wiring to do this too. We use a momentary dashboard switch and theyre simple to install.

Immobiliser Removal

Eliminate immobiliser issues with our removal service. This allows your engine to run without security failures. Please note that for Discovery 2 models, wiring modifications may be necessary. If there's a fault in the BCM, your engine will start, but other security faults may still be present.

Cruise Control Recalibration

If you've installed one of our Cruise Control kits on your Defender TD5 and made adjustments to the gear ratios, we'll recalibrate your ECU accordingly. The cruise control operates within specific RPM and road speed parameters, which may need updating. Most common conversions are pre-loaded, but if there are additional modifications, we may request a data log to ensure precise calibration.

How The File Service Works

How the File Service Works

1. Read and Save: Use the Just Map It software to read and save your ECU file, and access your encryption key.
2. Email Us: Send the saved file and encryption key to justmapit@empiretuning.co.uk along with your vehicle details and specific file requirements.
3. Receive Your Mapped File: We’ll return the customized file ready for you to write back onto your ECU.
