This OEM Hitachi mass air flow sensor is suitable for 2.4 TDCI Defenders and the earlier 2.2 diesel Freelander 2 models.

When still using a MAF sensor its extremely important that it operates within in the parameters set out by the manufacturer, and we've found cheap aftermarket copies never operate correctly, and can actually cause more issues such as surging and the sensor making the ECU go into a default setting. We therefore recommend using only high quality replacements such as these.
