Loosing fuel due to puncturing the tank can have disastrous consequences and leave you stranded miles from home with expensive repair and recovery bills to figure.
These 6mm alloy tank guards from Terrafirma is a far stronger upgrade over the standard thin steel fuel tank cradle on the later TD5 & TDCI Defender 90, and better protects the plastic tank from rock and puncture damage etc. They are also made to suit factory tow bars, although some trimming and adjustment may be required on aftermarket tow bars.
